Cat Art
Cat art captures the essence of cats which, in themselves, nothing less than natural works of art. They glide lithely through their dominions, oozing natural grace.
We all feel that our cat(s) are the absolute best pets and companions. They make us laugh with their antics and comfort us when we're down. They keep us warm in winter (especially if they sleep on your head!) and calm, relax and de-stress us, thereby keeping the blood-pressure down and actually help us to live longer, healthier lives.
So what could be more natural than wanting to appreciate paintings, pictures, calendars and prints of cats, and other representations of our everyday feline companions?
This page and the other pages listed under Cat Lover Gifts will bring all that is best in cat art/gifts/etc. together in one place for you. Cat paintings, prints, posters, calendars and books. Looking for that ideal feline picture for yourself to brighten your home? Or searching for a pleasing cat related gift for a friend? We have them here for you.
Since this page deals with art (rather than posters, prints or photos), have you ever thought of having a picture of your cat painted? Some years ago, I received a Christmas gift from a girlfriend that was watercolor paintings of my two cats, Now, I've got photos of my cats, lots of them in fact, (even some good ones), but the paintings seem to catch some ethereal quality that photographs don't or can't.
Drew Strouble has become famous for his unique and original cat art in watercolors, prints, cards, etc. He also does custom cat portraits - people love his work. What's more, if your charity needs a helping paw or your website visitors love cats... Club CatmanDrew! offers you 15% commission on every sale your site refers. Plus, if any other site you refer joins Club CatmanDrew! you'll receive 5% of their sales commissions. What a great way to raise revenue through the beauty of animal art!
Unfortunately, the artist who painted my cats no longer paints (for medical reasons, I believe) but I can definitely recommend you getting paintings of your cats. Mine are up on the wall in the lounge and, while my cats sit beside me every day, I still find my eyes drawn towards those pictures and, looking at them, I know I can still reach out and stroke those cats. The day will come, however unpleasant it is to think about, when my cats will no longer be with me. But I'll still have those paintings to remind me of my companions and as a keepsake of love and friendship for the girlfriend who gave them to me one wonderful Christmas.
