Cat Training Made Simple
By nature cats tend to be sovereign, not easily lead to follow instructions that they receive from people. This very nature makes the process of cat training quite difficult, but not impossible. By making a commitment to see the training done the right way and thoroughly, you will find that you are able get your cat trained, despite initial misgivings over the difficulties of overcoming the stubbornness of your cat's behavior
Cats are extremely clever animals, yet they do not comprehend the standard of cause and effect like people do. When you scrutinize a cat's behavior it is crucial to take action without delay or your response will not be very effective because the cat cannot make the connection between its unacceptable behavior and your reaction.
One of the finest ways to improve your cat or kitten training is to support an entirely dissimilar behavior instead. This technique works because cats are much more amenable to affirmative reinforcements. For example, if you become aware of your cat playing and clawing at your favorite piece of furniture, persuade your cat to draw their attention to a toy instead.
As with most cats, they will react to cat training fine if there is an incentive attached to their excellent performance. Buy your cat's preferred snacks and be sure to compensate your cat with a prize whenever fine actions are observed. It can also be accommodating to compensate your pet with love. On countless occasions a hug or petting session can be just as effective.
Violence should not be used against a pet that is not obeying your wishes, this is and important part of training. The fear generated from violent action against your cat will be counterproductive to your cat training. This type of cruel violence is not allowable and should not be tolerated. Positivity can help far more than any type of cruelty.
It can be extremely difficult to train a cat, but with the correct approach and incentives you can change the behavior of your cat. Never respond to your cat with violence and always use positive reinforcements.

Cat training is almost impossible as cats are independent-minded and stubborn - but it can be done. While cats are intelligent, they can't connect misbehavior with your corrective action, so punishment is not as good as kitten training, which is positive reinforcement: discouraging undesirable behavior by encouraging good behavior.
